MTB trail launch set for Saturday

About 200 cyclists have entered the inaugural San Lameer MTB & Trail Fun Run and Race, which takes place on Saturday, 18 June.

The launch entails a fun-filled day consisting of three challenges - four-kilometre fun run, seven-kilometre mini- fun cycle challenge and the 17km main fun cycle challenge.

Participants, families and spectators will also be kept entertained and relaxed at the massage area and children’s entertainment area with fun inflatables and hospitality tent.

There are lots of amazing prizes to be won.

Giant South Coast, one of the main sponsors, will have a pop-up bike shop offering repair services, bike washes and the sale of merchandise.

The trail is set within one of the KwaZulu-Natal South Coast’s most scenic and unique coastal forests. The trail is funyet challenging. It is suitable for all.

Races start at 7am.
