MZAMBA Police Station held a spiritual outreach programme at the station on Monday,

Station commander Lieutenant-Colonel Devan John said the programme was held to strengthen and inspire the station’s staff.

Leading the programme was Maggie Chiborise, Lincoln Mapuranga and Themba Chiborise from the Christ Embassy Church.

Chiborise spoke about facing challenges and the power of words.

“Not all challenges you face are there to destroy and kill you - some are there to strengthen you,” she said. The staff each had one on one counselling sessions with Chiborise.

“Things are surely going to change for the better now at this station,” said Captain Thandazwa Dzingwa.

“On behalf of the Mzamba Police Station we would like show our appreciation. We needed this. Your inspiration really touched us and I’m sure all of us have taken something from it,” said Lieutenant-Colonel John.
