NETCARE Margate Hospital staff spent their 67 minutes of Mandela Day at Othandweni Cerebral Palsy Day Care Centre in Gamalakhe. The team renovated the centre’s playground and playroom and the children were given snack packs. Hospital general manager Rob Ferreira said his team was excited about bringing change and putting smiles on the children’s faces.“What counts in life is not the mere fact that we have lived. It is what difference we have made to the lives of others that will determine the significance of the life we lead,” said Ferreira, quoting Mandela. - Supplied.
