THE South Coast Warriors were given their new kit at a function at Douglas Mitchell sports ground recently.

Sponsors were given certificates of appreciation and thanked for their tremendous support, albeit in the tough economic climate.

Club vice-president, Danie van Tonder, said it was difficult to run a club with no sponsors.

“Times are tough and business owners have to think twice before agreeing to a sponsorship, no matter what the amount. We greatly appreciate everyone’s support.”

Van Tonder said Warriors also appreciated the support of spectators who come to watch games and cheer them on.

“Spectator support is also important. We have great players, great sponsors and great spectator encouragement.”

Kit sponsors are Riversmead, Status Panelbeaters, Superbodies, Kyocera, Nashua, Douglas Mitchell, Builders, Signland, Niccill Plumbers and Mactoo Building Contractors.
