New labour regulations will not help job seekers

2018-02-15 06:01

THE copious Labour Regulations Act, which was introduced recently by the present South African government, must read like a future utopia to the 9,4 million unemployed people who are desperately seeking employment in South Africa.

In my opinion, nobody who is acquainted or qualified, even to a minor degree, in the business of finding employment for an enormous number of people in a country who are drowning in insolvency, as South Africa is, would introduce this legislation in order to create jobs.

I observe this as a subtle plan to win votes for the ANC in the national government elections to take place in or about May 2019.

Think very carefully who you vote for if you are one of those desperate job seekers of South Africa.
