A FRESH new look is what shoppers can look forward to at the Southcoast Mall. Renovations have been completed and a celebratory cocktail party, to which contractors, tenants and role players were invited, was held last Thursday to launch the new look.

Mall centre manager Jayne Munro thanked everyone for attending and for their hard work and dedication over the past months.

Hibiscus Coast Municipality speaker, Ronnie Nair, said when the plans for renovations were submitted, he wondered how it would be possible to develop a relatively new mall.

“Looking at the final product, it was a job well done,” she said.

He commended Redefine for taking a brave step of investing money during a recession environment and said he hopes it will help inspire other building owners to do the same.

“The area has lots of activity. There are hotels, complexes and even an industrial park. Improvements like this create partnerships and boost tourism,” said Nair.
