SAN Lameer Estate has added another significant activity to its massive list of amenities and facilities available at the resort. It has launched its very own on-site mountain bike trail.

This trail was built entirely by San Lameer Estate through J.A Landscapes and is graded as intermediate with a Blue Square according to international trail marking standards.

The main route trail is made up of seven inter-leading trails with a total distance of seven kilometres and takes about 30 to 50 minutes per lap to complete, depending on the riders pace. The trail consists of a five kilometre single track and two kilometre paved and gravel road.

The entire loop of the trail takes in seven sections of scenic inter-linking single track. On Saturday, 18 June, San Lameer will launch the trail with a fun-filled day introducing three challenges to interested participants - a four-kilometre fun run, a seven kilometre fun mini cycle challenge and a 17km Main fun cycle challenge. Participants and families can look forward to a children’s entertainment area, massage area and hospitality tent and have the chance of winning loads of amazing prizes. Giant (one of the main sponsors) will have a bike shop and offer repair services and merchandise on the day. Discounted flights for this event are available through CemAir as well as discounted accommodation packages by San Lameer Hotel and Villa Rentals self-catering accommodation.

Interested participants can visit to enter for our San Lameer MTB and Trail Fun Run and Race.
