THE weekly Uvongo Park Run welcomed loads of visitors and holidaymakers for the Easter weekend on Saturday.

Run co-ordinator Belinda Wright said the event must have had about 500 runners participating this week, all of which were Park Run members from varying areas. “On average, we have about 192 runners per week, but this week we had 574 and about 136 first finishers, which was fantastic,” said Wright.
