ONE person sustained serious injuries and two others endured moderate injuries after a car accident in Marburg on Monday evening.

Kwazulu Private Ambulance paramedics arrived at the Marburg traffic lights where one person was still trapped in the vehicle. “It appears that it was a side-impact collision. Paramedics and fire fighters worked together to extricate the passenger with the jaws of life and other rescue tools,” said Kwazulu Private Ambulance spokesperson Belinda Catchpole.

All patients were treated and transported to a nearby hospital. - Supplied.
