HIBISCUS Primary School in Margate celebrated Arbor Week on Tuesday.

The school hosted South Coast environmental watch dogs, Tree Walkers, who planted four forest monogamies at the school and spoke to pupils about the importance of trees.

The pupils promised to take care of the planted trees.

“Trees may have many uses like furniture, paper and others, but it is also important that we preserve them because without them we would not have clean air to breath and they add beauty to nature,” said Robin Brodie from Tree Walkers.
