TEAMS braved the rain on Saturday to take part in a social volleyball tournament hosted by City Boyz Volleyball Club at Marburg sports grounds.

The aim of the games is to return the sport to the South Coast. Allison Appalsamy, City Boyz Volleyball Club manager said the turnout was amazing with more ladies’ teams participating.

“We are hoping to have more tournaments and return volleyball to its glory days of years gone by. The turnout increases with every tournament with more teams entering each time,” said Appalsamy.

The final games were interrupted resulting in all teams agreeing that the leading team at that point would be the winners.

The winners were Prowlers who defeated New Covenant Ladies, Non-Competitive NCC defeating Assassins Competitive and City Boys B defeating NCCP.
