THE non-profit organisation Heart to Heart Women and Children’s Foundation invites women and the youth to its Redlipstick ladies dinner at Umdlalo Lodge on 17 February from 5pm.

Nomzamo Ndlovu, the organisation founder, said Heart to Heart’s mission is to empower women and children in the fight against domestic violence and substance abuse.

Domestic violence and substance abuse will be addressed at the dinner.

“A number of speakers, including female pastors Thabsile Mnyandu, Prophetess Nomcebo Msimang and Pastor Yandisa Mhlabu will be in attendance,” said Ndlovu.

Other guests include those from departments that deal with victims of women abuse, domestic violence and substance abuse.

“We will have officials from SAPS, Department of Justice, Social Development and the health sector. They will talk about the relationship they have with victims, enlighten them on how to open cases of such abuse and when they should report incidents,” said Ndlovu.

The guest speaker is motivational speaker and a municipal manager of Ugu, Vuyisiwe Tsako.

The cost is R250 per person, including a meal.
