The Kingfisher Bowling Association 7’s League was played at a number of clubs from Monday, November 5 to Thursday, November 8 with the play-off’s taking place on Friday, November 9 at Margate Bowling Club.

The team was made up of star bowlers E. Fann, K. Lancaster, R. Anderson, L. Wright, B. Rawlins, D. Price, and M. Ross.

Ross, from Port Shepstone Country Club, took top honours in the Men’s 7’s League with AMBC in second place followed by MBC in third and The Bell in fourth.

The team of D. Mitchley, L. de Rosner, H. Hankey, G. George, H. Turk, P. Navias, and B. Lombaard from the AMBC “B” division took top honours in the Daphne Conradie Women’s 7’s League. The Bell team came in second place, followed by PSCC in third, and MBC in fourth place.

Prior to this, the KBA Mixed Fours Competition was played at The Bell and Riverside Country Club over the weekend of October 20 to October 21, with the semi-final and final taking place on Sunday, November 4 at The Bell.

The team members included Shane Nienaber, Maureen Muller, Ross Ferguson, and Edith Button from Riverside Country Club, who took top honours.

John Mitchley, Kevin O’Donoghue, Delyshia Mitchley, and Sandy O’Donoghue from AMBC took a proud second place.

Coming in at a joint third place were the team from Port Shepstone Country Club, skipped by Peter Maggs, and the team from Margate Bowling Club, skipped by Jessica Henderson.
