Retired teacher calls for association formation

2017-01-26 06:01

RETIRED teacher Krishna Reddy calls on retired teachers from Hibberdene to Port Edward to form an association where they can meet and socialise and be of assistance to the community.

Reddy said the idea of forming this association came to him after realising the need of such an association in the area as other areas and cities like Durban have them.

“I am a member of an association in Park Rynie, but feel that it too far for me to travel, however I felt there is a need to form an association in this area as there are many retired teachers here, who do not belong to an association of such,” said Reddy.

“Such an association will have many benefits for those who have dedicated themselves to the profession and we as retirees still have the potential and ability to energise ourselves, improve our social lives and contribute by uplifting our communities,”

Reddy asked interested retirees to contact him. “Should any retiree feel that such an association will benefit them, they can call me and we can schedule a meeting for all,” he said. Contact Reddy on 039 315 1125 and 084 511 1808 or email
