RECORDING artist Rowan Stuart is heading to Ramsgate for a performance at Rocky Ridge on Sunday, joined by Andy Turrell on bass guitar.

Stuart has created an inimitable brand of folk-meets-pop music, seamlessly crossing over from acoustic singer-songwriter to radio charting pop artist, while retaining his signature depth of content.

Recalling Sting’s imaginative storytelling, Death Cab For Cutie’s sense of space and beauty, and John Mayer’s tight grooves, Rowan uses his notable prowess on the guitar as the foundation for his creativity.

He has toured South Africa and opened for some of the country’s biggest acts, including The Parlotones, Prime Circle, Matthew Mole and many others.

His breakthrough single Silver Balloon, released in 2016, was play-listed on major radio stations across South Africa, including 5FM, East Coast Radio, Algoa FM, KFM, 947 and more.

He is currently putting the final touches on a new six-track EP to be released later this month before continuing his national touring schedule.

Doors open at 6pm with music starting at 8pm. Entry is R30 per person. For more information contact 072 473 6095 or email info@rockyridge.co.za - Supplied.
