SA - corrupt to the core

2017-07-06 06:00

A RECENT television programme broadcast alerted the media of the dire straits of medical health services in KwaZulu-Natal.

A recently qualified doctor of a group of 20 qualified unemployed interns, who, being desperate to practise, offered voluntary work in hospitals, but was rejected.

A spokesman explained that the health department lacks revenue to employ doctors. Furthermore, South Africa paid more than a billion rand to send students to study medicine in Cuba. These students, who are due to qualify, will have no posts in South Africa.

Faulty equipment cannot be repaired. Our province lacks specialists - oncologists and neurologists. Yet the government has squandered billions on restoring destroyed property - schools, universities, clinics, businesses, trains, vehicles, equipment and now, the Bloemfontein City Hall. Municipalities cannot account for exorbitant expenditure and lavish entertainment. How much money has been wasted on unnecessary name changes? My suggestion for a name change for South Africa is “Corruptia”.

a cabinet, brimming with excessive portfolios, inflated salaries and receiving kickbacks for illegal tenders, has contributed to the country’s bankruptcy.

it appears that the anc has raped the country. the anc has failed to make any contribution in the fields of medicine, education, science, agriculture, etc. their only legacy is violence and destruction, which is perpetrated daily.

a muslim, the nephew of an activist, whose uncle had been detained and died at john vorster square, is clamouring for the reopening of the death docket.

the anc activists adopted a philosophy of communism, which refutes the existence of god. they believed that religion is the opiate of the people. an observing muslim worships allah.

now the murderer of my mother (a senior citizen, assisting the disadvantaged) was never arrested. members of the public, whose law-abiding family, relatives and friends were murdered, should also demand the reopening of these cases.

in many countries, the retribution of treason is capital punishment.
