THE Scottburgh SAPS hosted a farewell dinner for Magda Tilbrook at the Cutty Sark Hotel recently. Tilbrook retired after being with SAPS for 26 years.

She started her career with the police in 1991 at Umkomaas and took up a position at the Scottburgh SAPS detective service in 1994. In 2005 she was appointed sub-section commander, a position she held until retirement.

She received various medals for service and outstanding performance.

Ugu cluster commander, Major-General Sethenya Nxamagele thanked Tilbrook for having served the organisation with loyalty, dedication and pride.

“On behalf of the Ugu cluster management, senior officers, station commanders and members, I wish her a long blissful life, excellent health, prosperity and happiness,” said General Nxamagele.
