SUID Natal Primary School recently hosted a social sports day on Saturday, June 2.

There were 18 schools from throughout KZN that participated in the social event and 240 social matches were played.

Showing great sportsmanship, teams played social matches in hockey, netball and rugby.

Also in attendance was Spur, Tiagos and Beaver Creek who supplied food and beverages on the day. The event was well supported by the community and the aim of the event was to raise funds to pay for the construction of a roof over the school’s pavilion.

“Our Annual Winter Sports Day was such a success, the aim was to provide a fun-filled day and that is exactly what the day became” said deputy principal Donovan Mulder. The sports day was sponsored by Status Panel Beaters, Halfway Ford and Halfway Toyota.
