BURRY Stander Foundation invites school and pupils to its South Coast Schools Mountain Bike Series 2016.

Mandie Stander said the series is aimed to equip the children with riding skills.

“In the different legs of the series we will be teaching the children how to ride a mountain bike, develop the skills of those who are already riding and teach them safety precautions while riding,” said Stander.

Riding will take place at the Burry Stander Bike Park off St Faiths Road in Umtwentweni, which provides a safe environment for the children to ride their bikes.

She said children from the age of six can join and helmets must be worn.

“The next legs of the series will be on 11 March, 8 April, 20 May, 24 June, 23 July, 19 August and 23 September.

Entry is R30 per leg.
