Shelly Lions get involved

2016-01-21 06:00

SHELLY Beach Lions have been busy, starting with taking a load of groceries to a crèche in Gamalakhe.

This crèche is run by Pastor Dumisani Mzameko and caters for children from the age of three until 11.

There are 76 children in this crèche which Lions support on a monthly basis.

“We’d like to thank the public for their loyal support in contributing to this worthy cause,” said Paul Brauteseth of the Shelly Lions.

The club also assisted the Margate Scouts Club to renovate and clean up its club house.

Lions repainted and tiled the inside of the premises and then revamped the grounds.

“Thanks to public support the Lions had the funds to carry out these tasks,” he said. - Supplied.
