RESIDENTS took advantage of the extremely low prices and came out in their numbers to support the SPCA car boot sale at their premises on Saturday.

The friendly traders from all over the South Coast brought in a variety of household items including books, clothing, delectable bath and gift items among others.

SPCA marketing manager Dalene Erasmus said the market was a huge success.

“We had a successful event, we even had three adoptions today so we are very grateful for the community’s continued support,” said Erasmus. She further encouraged the public to bring their pets in to the SPCA if they are going away on holiday and are not able to take care of them during the holidays, rather than abandoning them.
