NG KERK Port Shepstone invites everyone to their fun walk on 16 June starting at the church at 8am for 9am.

Walk organiser, Anita Roodt, said the aim of the walk is to raise funds for the Bible Society of South Africa, and will assist in distributing many Bibles to South Africans.

To sponsor a Bible costs R49, but people are welcome to contribute any amount. Entry to the walk is free, and there are three distances to choose from.

“We have the three distances - 2.3km, 3.6km or 5.6km,” said Roodt.

The first 150 entries home will receive a Bible Society of South Africa medal, and there will other prizes up for grabs.

“We will also have food stalls selling pancakes, puddings, cookies and coffee and tea will be on sale, please come join us and have fun,” said Roodt.

For more information, contact the NG Kerk office on 039 682 0286 or Roodt on 073 206 9260.
