THE Gift of the Givers has started a stationery drive to assist pupils in Port Shepstone. Numerous schools have been earmarked for the drive with the assistance of the local Department of Education circuit managers for the Ogwini circuit, Rajen Naidoo and Kanthan Appalraju.

Last Friday, Suid-Natal Primary was the first of the beneficiary schools to receive a stationery hamper for each pupil. The principal of Suid-Natal, Callie Krog, was extremely grateful for the donation.

“There is a dire need for assistance from other organisations for the upliftment of these pupils,” said Imraan Mahomed from the Gift of the Givers.
