SHELLY Beach Lions Club is proud to hold its first Charity Fun Run on Heritage Day, September 24, 2018, starting and finishing on St Mike’s Beach Front at 8.30 am.

Registration for runners opens at 7.30 am, and you can bring your grandkids, kids, parents, colleagues, friends and even your furry friends (on leads) to walk or run the Fun Run.

Entry is only R30 per person, plus you stand a wonderful chance of winning an awesome Spar hamper if you buy a raffle ticket on the day.

“All proceeds raised by Shelly Beach Lions are used to support community projects like diabetes testing, child and youth programmes, food parcel support and many more community projects we as Lions are involved with,” said Shelly Beach PR director Johann Bentley.

“We are celebrating our 10-year anniversary at our club this year and are proud to continue our work in the community with your ongoing support. We look forward to making this Charity Fun Run another community success for many years to come,” he added.

If you need any further information about the Lions Shelly Beach Heritage Day Charity Fun Run, please call or WhatsApp Johann Bentley at 082 549 9451 or visit and like our Facebook page: www.facebook.com/shellybeachlions. See you there!!! — SUPPLIED
