Thank you, firemen

2015-11-26 06:00

UMTENTWENI, Chakas Road residents would like to take this opportunity to thank Hibiscus Coast Municipality employees, from Joyce in the control room to the guys from the fire department.

On 11 November at approximately 7.20pm we heard a loud crash and found that a tree had come down, completely blocking the road at the entrance to Chakas Road.

A phone call to 039 683 5555 was made shortly thereafter and by 8.30pm the fire truck and firemen had been on-site and had cut and cleared the tree. A job very well done and in good time. We thank you.
