Thanks to matrics

2017-12-21 06:00

THE previous week saw acts of selflessness and kindness as pupils in matric donated their school uniforms to the needy.

This generous act was proposed by the MEC for Education, Mthandeni Dlungwana, who was appalled by the norm of tearing up school uniforms at the end of the matric exams.

The MEC’s call did not fall on deaf ears as the pupils took it upon themselves to donate much more than uniforms, they also donated books and school shoes, which are much needed among many

I hope other schools adopt this trend, and to those who did donate, your kindness did not go unnoticed.

May your selflessness continue and may the good Lord shower you with blessings.
