EAST Coast Radio has identified Ugu South Coast Tourism (USCT) visitors information centres (VIC) as collection points for this year’s Toy Story.

Seven collection points have been selected - Scottsburg, Hibberdene, Shelly Beach, Margate, Southbroom, Munster and Ezinqoleni municipality.

The ECR and Game Toy Story is aimed at giving every child in a government hospital, children's home and orphanages in KwaZulu-Natal a new toy.

Nikki Tilley, marketing and events specialist at (USCT) said the VICs are well positioned through out the greater South Coast area and are open seven days a week.

Collections started on Tuesday 3 November.

East Coast Radio’s general manager Boni Mchunu said they are always humbled by the kindness and generosity shown by people in KZN during this initiative and said listeners go out of their way to help ECR make a difference in the lives of disadvantaged children.

Tourism CEO Justin Mackrory urges the community to spread the word and donate new toys.

“We are thrilled to be able to offer the service to one of our key media partners, ECR. We would like to congratulate it on this campaign, which goes from strength to strength each year,” said Mackrory.

To get involved in Toy Story donate a new toy or make a cash donation at a Game store.
