MANY new participants joined the social five-kilometre fun run at Clearwater Trail Centre in Port Edward on Saturday. Luscious forest sections were added to the route and NSRI Port Edward was on hand to assist with marshalling and safety.

After the run, families and friends enjoyed breakfast and the view of the Umtamvuna River from the café, making it a perfect weekend outing.

A lucky draw was also held and Wesley Ridley won a year’s free trail entry, valued at R250. The next event will take place on Sunday 28 February.
