MTENTWENI Crime Watch held its third annual treasure hunt at the Port Shepstone Country Club on Friday afternoon.
The event was held to raise funds towards purchasing and installing CCTV cameras in the neighbourhood.

Umtentweni residents came in numbers and had to hunt for gold nuggets which were hidden in two sand pitches on the course.

Each person was required to find one nugget with a prize number and when they returned, they were given the prize that corresponded with the number.

Most of the prizes were made by Liela Edwards a member of the crime watch and included wooden board games.
