UGU Film Festival (UGUFF) recently registered as a non-profit organisation and inducted its board members.

UGUFF is also now a member of Without A Box, a division of IMDB.

UGUFF founder, Senzo Zindela, said this is a big achievement for the festival.

“It is exciting that our event has been approved and activated on the best platform of all time, Without A Box, a division of IMDB.

UGUFF was previously a non-profit division of Sollywood Films Pty, Ltd., now registered as an independent NPO.

“A website suitable for the NPO has been opened - www.uguff.org - and is now fully functional for film makers who are part of the festival,” he said.

Senzo said the festival has grown with the support of the community and for that he is grateful.

He said UGUFF welcomes its new board members.

“UGUFF has a board and advisory committee made up of film industry professionals, funders, municipality officials and business people who care about community development.

“A page with their profiles on will be opened on our website soon,” he said.
