Ugu life sciences conference this month

2017-08-10 06:01

THE Ugu District Teaching and Learning Services Life Sciences advisory team will be hosting a life sciences conference this month.

The conference will host 200 teachers from all over the district and will feature speakers from the UKZN Life Sciences department as well as a life coach.

Organisers said the conference was aimed at uniting teachers from the district for the benefit of pupils in the subject.

“We are trying to sustain the improvement of the subject and benefit more life sciences pupils in the district,” said project manager from the department, Bawinile Nondaba.

Nondaba said the project needed funding and was requesting sponsorship to support the cause.

“Sponsors will be acknowledged, given the opportunity to promote their product or service at the conference and are invited to send a representative to the conference,” she said.
