Woman stabbed at St Mike’s beach

A 23-YEAR-OLD woman was stabbed during a robbery at St Michael’s Beach in Margate on Friday at about 10am.

According to police spokesperson, Lieutenant-Colonel Zandra Wiid, the woman was sitting on the beach when two men approached her.

“They took a laptop by force and then stabbed her in the arm with a broken bottle. A robbery case is being investigated by Port Shepstone police,” said Wiid.

Netcare 911 paramedics responded and stabilised the woman on scene before transporting her to a nearby hospital. - Supplied
