TEAMS from the Gamalakhe Zonal League played at TB Molefe Stadium last weekend.

A total of 12 teams from the South Coast including Nositha, Kwa Xaba, Mthavuna and Gamalakhe participated in the two-day tournament.

The pivotal game for the day was Young Stars vs Arsenal as both teams were from the KwaXaba fighting for the area champions

Arsenal scored the opening goal in the first half and it seemed as though they would take the title, but Young Stars caught up in the dying minute of the game with the equaliser, ending the game 1-1.

Seven Stars beat the Bucs 3-1, Wireless beat Nositha 3-1, Homeboys and Legends drew 0-0. Milan and Western Gunners drew 1-1, Wireless and Youngsters also drew 0-0, Korea beat Sea Breez 4-1 and Black Swallows beat Mthavuna 5-0. - Supplied.
