KwaDukuza schools in district chess tournament

THE iLembe Chess Association will hold its first annual general meeting on Saturday, 20 June, at the Chief Albert Luthuli Museum in Groutville.

The meeting will start at 10am and a business plan for the 2015/2016 financial year is to be discussed as well as the formation of chess clubs throughout the iLembe District. Those who will attend the meeting are requested to dress formal or smart-casual.

The Stanger circuit held its top schools chess tournament on Saturday, 2 May, and Nonhlevu Secondary will represent the circuit in the district tournament in the U15 girls’ and mixed age group. Stanger South Secondary will participate in the U18 girls’ age group and New Guelderland School in the U18 mixed group.
