BOSTON City Campus and Business College Stanger welcomes new blood as Prenesh Singh officially takes over from Annette Wilson as branch manager. Wilson announced, last Wednesday, that she will be taking up the position of branch manager at the Umhlanga campus.

Singh, who joined Boston in 2008 and is currently the head training advisor, will take up the position as of Friday, 24 April.

Singh said he feels ecstatic and nervous but he has a great team to work with and they will continue to work together and strive to achieve more.

His message to students, parents, corporate companies and the community: “Boston has reached great heights and is voted one of the best colleges thus far. Boston Stanger will continue to be at that level.”

Speaking about working with Wilson, Singh said: “Mrs Wilson, it has been a pleasure working under you. We have learnt a lot and you have been an inspiration to each one of us at the Stanger branch. I would like to wish you well on your new journey.”

Speaking about her new position, Wilson said she is excited and “a little nervous”.

“I will miss the people here. We are all one big happy family, they are all so precious, staff and learners alike. I will miss them all.”

Saying goodbye to her staff, Wilson, who joined Boston Stanger in 2010, said: “Stay the course, keep the college as welcoming as it is. Be fair and stay as caring as you are. My successor is a wonderful, and extremely capable human being.

“Prenesh Singh was a learner here, he received his National Diploma through Boston and he knows the college inside and out. As a local he has a fantastic understanding of Stanger and her people, he cares dearly for all of the learners and is the person that everyone turns to for a shoulder or a solution, myself included. I have a deep admiration for him and I know he will grow Boston Stanger forward with pride. I have loved my time here is Stanger, there were some downs but they were nowhere as numerable as the ups. I will miss everyone dearly.”
