ADVERTORIAL

Be patient...for what was written for you was written by the greatest of writers.

Every flower blossoms in its own time. We cannot force a rose to bloom. It will happen naturally because it all depends on Mother Nature.

As a young girl, I did not understand the deep concept of patience.

I was told that patience is sweet, beautiful and virtuous but I did not think so.

Waiting for something to happen was rather awful and painstaking for me.

Life has since given me the gift of patience through trials and tribulations.

I began to introspect on the essential nature of life, and along with it I discovered the profound meaning patience brings to our existence.

In waiting, one derives a heightened level of appreciation as opposed to instant gratification.

Patience is, in essence, the act of letting go of control and accepting the fact that our plans and expectations are not the ultimate.

There is a greater plan that is even better and perfect for us, it is called “divine timing”.

This deep realisation has been a bitter sweet journey yet so soothing and comforting to the soul.

How have the lessons of patience changed you or your outlook on life?

Everything comes to you at the right moment. Master the act of patience with all things but first of all learn to be patient with yourself.

It has been a humbling experience for me, which has opened my eyes to seeing the bigger picture and to accept that everything is as it should be.

We may not understand why things don’t work out or never go according to plan, but exercising patience will teach us the wisdom behind the “divine’s plan and timing”.
