NDUDUZO Makhathini is an acclaimed and award-winning jazz pianist and composer.

The South African Music Awards (SAMAs) winner is a scholar, and is passionate about Africa, people and music. He is quoted as saying, “I believe that I am doing cultural work rather than entertaining”.

He has worked with Zim Ngqawana, Marcus Wyatt, Busi Mhlongo, Feya Faku, and Salim Washington to name a few.

He has travelled the world at large (covered all continents) Nduduzo is currently the head of department of music at the famous Fort Hare University.

This powerhouse will be one of the performers headlining the Jazz With You event in KwaDukuza on November 3.

Khaya Mahlangu

His musical career spans decades, dating as far back as the 70s where he played in the Boy Scouts.

He has performed on many stages, in different countries and in front of prestigious guests such as the late great Nelson Mandela.

He has worked with many and shared stages with acclaimed artists such as, Sipho ‘Hotstix’ Mabuse, the late great American jazz pianist George Duke and late great trumpeter Hugh Masekela and Abdullah Ibrahim to name a few.

Whilst studying towards his music degrees at the then University Of Zululand (Ongoye), he co-founded one of the best jazz bands the country has ever produced, Spirits Rejoice and later went on to form the impeccable SAKHILE with the likes of Manyatso Mathole, Mabi Thobejane, Themba Mkhize, and Sipho Gumede.

He is extensively travelled (Europe, Scandanavia, Africa) gracing venues such as the Wembely and Montreux to name a few. A living legend indeed.

Xolisa Dlamini

She is an amazing songstress hailing from the Eastern Cape. She has studied and honed her craft at the University of KwaZulu-Natal Howard School of Music. She is a recording artist who has graced many stages and leaves the crowds captivated as she takes them on a musical and spiritual journey.

Tutti Grooves

Tutti Grooves is a seven-member ensemble from KwaZulu-Natal. Tutti is an Italian word meaning “all” or “together” a musical term used for a whole opposed to the soloist. As the name suggests, the group came propelled by their passion for music and producing amazing sounds. The group is inspired by many artists and bands such as Hugh Masekela, Stimela, and Sankomota.
