SAINTS Church Stanger officially opened an after school learning centre, the Logos Academy of Learning, at the beginning of 2018.

Since opening, they have had teachers from the local schools come on board to assist pupils from Grades four to 12 with various subjects.

Registration for the third term opens on Monday, July 16, from 9 am to 3 pm.

The centre runs from 2 pm to 5 pm, Monday to Saturday and on Saturdays from 9 am to 11 am.

Logos also provides free music lessons for children and adults as well.
Music teacher Paul Williams and family provide lessons for various instruments.

Logos also provides free WiFi and internet facilities for pupils to use.

According to Pastor Rajen Soobramoney from Saints, working parents are having major challenges because their children are left at home unsupervised and there’s no guarantee that they are studying.

“At Logos, we have volunteers who will monitor and ensure that pupils get their homework done. Parents are encouraged to take advantage of the facility and enrol your child at Logos. Logos thanks all their teachers and volunteers for sacrificing their time and their services for our pupils at the centre.”

Those parents who have their children registered must re-register for this term.

For more information/enrolments contact the Logos Academy of Learning at 066 175 1222.
