ANC double standards

2017-01-11 06:01

TSHWANE mayor Solly Msimanga accepted an invitation to Taiwan for an investment in SA promotion and the ANC, still bitter at losing Tshwane to the DA mayoral candidate Msimanga, accuse the new mayor of treason.

Sometimes the mind is staggered by the myopic double standards the ANC displays. Going on an all expenses paid investor presentation that can only create new jobs is treason because China does not recognise Taiwan as a country, but somehow the Gupta state capture attempts of our state-owned enterprises is not treason. How about the growing unemployment, especially among the youth in SA? Is not providing job opportunities for them not more treasonous? What about a president who violated the Constitution? There is a saying about people in glass houses that applies here, but there is no rhyme or treason that the ANC can accuse anybody else of treason if it still will not oust President Jacob Zuma. Oh well, ’tis the treason of our folly.
