NARISHA Cassim (23), is putting Kwa-Dukuza on the map as a brand ambassador for Miss Eagle South Africa 2018 KZN.
Currently studying teaching through Unisa, Cassim has developed a passion for modelling and pageants and is always helping out in charity events and giving community talks, one of her most recent being at the PSK Foundation.

Cassim also holds titles, including first princess for Miss Be-You-Tiful 2017, Miss Hope 16/17 and Miss Personality KZN.

“My hobbies include dancing, reading and I am a comedian at heart. I have a bubbly personality that will make anyone smile on a bad day. My favourite colour is blue and I’m a food fanatic.”

Speaking about Miss Eagle South Africa, Cassim explained that it is a women empowerment contest using the “beauty with brains and a purpose” platform to empower young women to grow and develop themselves by making a positive impact in their communities.

“My message to the young girls of the community is never let your circumstances determine where you go in life.

“Always rise above the rest, a leader leads not follows, strive for excellence and you will receive. Despite all my challenges I am still eager to catch my dreams and make them a reality.

“If there are any charity events I would be glad to assist and give talks so feel free to contact me,” she said.

Cassim is representing KZN and her home town KwaDukuza at provincial level at the Miss Eagle KZN. Help her by voting for her, SMS Narisha to 35334. Free SMS’s do not apply.
