Bodies of missing men found in Nsuze

NSUZE Police and the iLembe Cluster Task Team conducted an intelligence driven operation last Wednesday morning which led to the discovery of two decomposing bodies at KwaNodwengu area under Ndwedwe policing precinct.

According to KZN SAPS spokesperson Colonel Thembeka Mbele, the bodies were identified as Mboniseni “Bonii” Nkosinathi Mgeyane and Senzo “Zehla” Funokwakhe Mkhize from Ngcongangconga area.

“The two were last seen together on July 18, around midday at Bhamshela area near the taxi rank. Two murder dockets were opened at Ndwedwe police station and two suspects aged 29 and 31 were arrested.

“The 31-year-old suspect was found in possession of a pistol with its serial number filed off during the arrest. He was immediately charged and he appeared at Nsuze Magistrate’s Court on November 22.”

The suspects will both appear in the Ndwedwe Magistrate’s Court today.
