STANGER get ready for the show of a life time. When Maharajas and the Langara Queen team up, it’s set to be one spicy evening with every individual left with an unforgettable taste.
Stanger born Elaine Pillay, owner of Maharaja’s Spices, has definitely shown her culture in her tantalising production of spices.
As a young female entrepreneur taking the spice world by storm with spice bars countrywide, she is soon to launch her spices internationally.
She is also the owner of an up market hair studio in Hillcrest.
As a wife and mother of two Elaine is definitely a fine example of woman empowerment.
Tash, the Langara Queen, is the founder and creator of Have a Bash with Tash. She was born and raised in Chatsworth and has become a social media sensation.
Her side-splitting comedy, telling-it-like-it-is and changing the norms of society has seen Tash become a household name in all parts of the world.
Her sold out shows countrywide have left people in stitches. In a unanimous effort these two young powerhouses have decided to bring Tash’s live show to Stanger where she has an ever expanding fan base.
Maharajas has listed Bash with Tash as the brand ambassador of Maharaja’s Spices and is one if the largest sponsors of all her shows.
Being the month of celebrating the greatness of women, these two women have dedicated their lives to the betterment of all whom they come into contact with.
Hosting over five fundraising events in a week, they are also passionate about giving back and assisting communities at no cost.
Their attitude of changing the norms of society have become contagious to many. The show is a one-night only extravaganza and is one of the most talked about comedy showcases around.
Both the ladies have been nominated to receive Woman of Wonder awards also set to take place this month.
Stanger is in for quite a treat with an authentic food station for the night that showcases all the old school food we all love. From dhal in a cup to mango pickle and mango with salt and chilli powder.
The Langara Queen is all about giving back and always gives back to her adoring fans. Her sponsors for every show for fan gifts are over R100 000.
A special Women’s Day tribute will be showcased as well as Tash takes special notice of fans celebrating special occasions.
Catch the Langara Queen Tash for one night only at the Shri Sanathan Mundal Hall on Saturday, August 26 at 7pm. Doors open at 6pm. Tickets available at Raymens Supermarket, Natures Best and Mall Cafe. As this show is family friendly, children are welcome.
