CWSA hosts raffle

2018-10-17 06:03

CHILD Welfare SA - KwaDukuza will hold a raffle competition in a effort to raise funds for the successful running of the society. The draw for the winners will take place on November 2.

The first prize is a lounge suite, the second prize is a bicycle and the third prize is a tablet. There will also be seven consolation prizes.

Senior social work manager Penny Dhaver said the welfare depends on the support of the community and believes a good way to garner support is to give incentives back.

“Schools and organisations are requested to participate in the competition. There are great prizes to be won. Raffle tickets are priced at R5 each. Pupils will receive a free entry to the raffle competition for their participation in selling tickets. Each booklet costs R100.

“Schools and organisations that sell between 10 and 20 books will keep 20% of the money made from the sales as well. Should they sell over 20 books, they keep 25% of the sales.”

Dhaver thanked the community for their ongoing support, saying: “We thank the community for supporting our raffle competition in the past. We look forward to your support once again.”
