CWSA: KwaDukuza Winter Fair on track

2016-03-30 06:00

THE most popular event on KwaDukuza’s entertainment calendar, the Child Welfare SA: KwaDukuza Winter Fair is on track for July.
Winter Fair 2016 will be held from Friday, 1 July to Sunday, 3 July at the KwaDukuza Country Club and Recreation Grounds.

The fair is the society’s major fund raising event and the fair committee strives to improve the standards and quality of the fair every year.
According to senior social worker Penny Dhaver, the exhibitors are appreciative of the high standards set.
“Patrons can look forward to high quality entertainment, stunning displays, delicious foods, kiddies entertainment and a spectacular fun fair.

“We are facing difficult economic times so the proceeds from the fair are used to render social work services to the community and ensure the sustainability of the society. The fair gives the community an opportunity to have fun with the family and at the same time contribute to a worthy cause.”

In view of financial constraints faced by Child Welfare organisations, the society will collapse if the fair is not held, said Dhaver.

Stall bookings are now open. To confirm bookings of stalls, a 50% deposit together with a signed contract must be received before 31 May 2016.
Only 60 stalls are available for sale.
The balance of the payment must be received before the commencement of the fair on 1 July.
For stall bookings contact Dhaver on 032 551 2129.

President and fair director Sandeep Oudhram has commenced with meetings to plan for the Winter Fair 2016.
Meetings are held every Mondays and Thursdays at 5pm at the Welfare Centre.

Interested members of the community are invited to attend these meetings and make input to improve the standards and quality of the fair.
