Duguza Golf Club reunion

2016-11-30 06:00

A GROUP of ardent Duguza Golf Club patrons have come together to organise a reunion of all the faithful members of the Duguza Golf Club. The club was a hub of activity over a long period and many friendships and camaraderie was fostered during this period. Sadly, the club had to close its doors some 12 years ago, forcing the members to ply their trade in other areas.

However, the friendship and camaraderie amongst the members still existed as communication between these close friends continued through the social media. It became imperatively clear that the days of the club were sorely missed and suggestions were that a reunion be organised so members could get together to reminiscence.

Numerous meetings were held by the organising committee and the date of the weekend of 10/11 December was decided and the committee has been busy getting the final details together.

A final meeting of all members who are enthusiastic to join the reunion will be held this Thursday (tomorrow), 1 December at 6pm at Stanger Secondary.
The committee will outline the final details and attendance at the meeting is crucial as this will confirm your attendance to the reunion. Those who are unable to attend the meeting but are enthusiastic to be at the reunion can contact members of the organising committee by 1 December.

The organising committee amongst others are Patrick Reddy (076 901 3367), Richard Reddy (078 379 7096), Anil Singh (078 224 6023) or you can contact Dan Moodley, Ronnie Kisten or Siven Naidoo.
