IN a late Sunday afternoon match taking place at Gledhow, Flipside A took on Magnum in a reduced (15 over) T20 A league encounter.

Flipside won the toss and without hesitation chose to bat, which seemingly backfired, as they lost three quick wickets with the score on 24.

Opener P. Govender was then joined by man of the match P. Naidoo, who showed no respect to the bowlers, smashing a brilliant 57 (7x4 and 1x6). He was well-supported by P. Govender (21) and P. Dhaver (20), seeing the team to 136 in the allotted overs. Pick of the FCC bowlers were S. Pillay and P. Govender with three wickets apiece. and N. Pancham claiming two.

In reply, Magnum finished with 80 for nine in their allotted overs. K. Padaychee was the only batsman to offer resistance, scoring 33.
