Help Umhlali SAPS help crime victims

2018-05-30 06:01

SAPS Umhlali Victim Empowerment Trauma Centre for both women and children is in operation.

They receive numerous victims on a daily basis who have been assaulted by their partners, abused, raped or abandoned (children).

This station requires food items in order to make the victims stay/visit to the police station more comfortable. An appeal is made to the public to provide any of the following food items: rusks (small packs or individually packed), noodles, biscuits, canned food, chips, small juice boxes, mixing juice, small boxes of milk, sachet or small packets of sugar and coffee, small snacks such as fruit bites, peanuts and raisins, jam, peanut butter, etc.

Anyone wanting to assist can contact Captain Vinny Pillay at 032 947 9920 or 073 310 0103.
