THE newly formed Islamic Relief South Africa - Stanger is an independently registered non-governmental organisation affiliated to Islamic Relief Worldwide (IRW), the world’s largest, independent humanitarian organisation.

Islamic Relief’s mission is to help the poor and those in need regardless of race, colour, political affiliation, gender or belief to live sustainable, self-reliant lives within safe and caring communities.

As their first fund raising effort the local branch lead by a group of volunteers will host a cake sale day on Saturday, 28 May in front of the KwaDukuza Town Hall from 8am until 2pm.

Cakes, cupcakes, hotdogs, chips, biryani, burgers and beverages will be on sale.
All proceeds will go to the upliftment of the less fortunate.
