Jehovah Shalom to host combined youth meeting

2018-02-21 06:02

JEHOVAH Shalom Baptist Church in Glenhills will be hosting a combined youth meeting on Friday, February 16, commencing at 7pm.

The combined youth meeting is not restricted to BASA (Baptist Association of South Africa) churches only, but church youth groups throughout KwaDukuza are encouraged to attend the meeting. Isaac Abraham, BASA youth leader, said: “The pastor Rodney Kandasamy and the youth at Jehovah Shalom Baptist Church have been working around the clock in the past week putting the finishing touches to a fun-filled and entertaining programme.”

“Apart from praise and worship from the host church, Stanger Baptist Church will entertain the youth with two powerful praise songs. His Spoken Word youth and the Shakaskraal Community Church young people will present a dance item which promise to be enthralling,” added Abraham.

The theme for Friday is love and the youth are encouraged to dress in red and black or white. Refreshments will be provided and no entry fee will be levied.

On Friday, March 23, BASA youth will host a concert in the park in KwaDukuza and on April 27 a concert is planned to take place at the Livingstones Baptist Church in Richards Bay.

Youth groups interested in presenting items on Friday night or the concert in the park on March 23, are requested to contact Isaac Abraham at 079 428 0345.
