KWADUKUZA Athletic Club attained 100% success in the Comrades Marathon recently.
This year’s Comrades Marathon was an up-run from

Durban to Pietermaritzburg, generally considered more difficult by majority of athletes.
This year six KDAC members;

Rajen Padayachee (11:58), Nkosinathi Cele (8:36), Thulani Zungu (11:49), Danny Sewmungal (11:59), Roshan Chalithar (9:54) and Philani Mkhize (8:26), were

at the start line of the 92nd Comrades Marathon

The vigorous training that KDAC athletes put in for Comrades from January up until May paid off when all six athletes successfully crossed the finish line at Scottsville Race Course in Pietermaritzburg by 5:30pm on the day.
KDAC president Nikeyi Marbeel was ecstatic to see all his club participants attain their medals on successful completion of race.
Sincere thanks and appreciation from all KDAC runners goes out to all the supporters on the route. Athletes were grateful to see familiar faces serving refreshments, offering hydration, treatment and support at various intervals on the route.
